FORMER ALMA MAN BURIED AT ST. PAUL
Alma, Wis. (special) - Chancy Braem, 55, Stacy, Minn., former resident of Alma died suddenly of a heart attck Jan. 6. Burial was Jan. 9 at St. Paul.
He was born in Alma Feb. 26, 1898, a son of Charles M. and Clara (Sester) Braem. He served in World War I. He married Florence Engen in August, 1919. After residing in Alma for a time they operated a farm in Isanti, Minn., and then moved to St. Paul.
He had been ill with a heart ailment six years and was unable to work the past four years. Since 1949 he resided in Stacy.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Paulson, St. Paul; and Mrs. H. Hunter, Roberts; three grandchildren; his mother, who spends some time in Alma each summer, but otherwise lives with her daughters; three sisters, Mrs. A. C. Hansen, Minneapolis; Mrs. Emil Forsberg, Hopkins, Minn., and Mrs. Florence Swanberg, Minneapolis, and two brothers, Elvin, Bremerton, Wash., and Clarence, fort Angeles, Wash.
