  Claudia D. Zimmerman MONTICELLO — Mrs. Ralph J. (Claudia D.) Zimmerman, 67, W4171 County EE, Monticello, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1992, at St. Clare Hospital. She was born May 1, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of John and Selina (Dalrymple) Altman. She was a graduate of Monticello High School. She married Ralph J. Zimmerman Sept. 5, 1945, at Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello. They farmed in Mount Pleasant Township. She was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ and the Verona Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, at home; four sons, William, New Glarus; James, Monroe; and Kenneth and Roger, both of Monticello; three daughters, Mrs. Gene (Alice) Fahrney and Julie Zimmerman, Monticello, and Mrs. Steve (Jayne) Crupi, Minneapolis, Minn.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voegeli-Newcomer Funeral Home, Monticello. The Rev. Erwin H. Pegel of Zwingli United Church of Christ officiates. Burial is in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund was established.
