Dennis Lee Jenny, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jenny, passed away enroute to St. Clare hospital, Monroe, on Thursday, Jan 17, 1952, from a throat infection.
Dennis Lee was eight months and 17 days old. He was born April 30, 1951, at St. Mary's hospital, Madison. Dennis Lee was baptized on Nov. 25, 1951, at the Blanchardville Lutheran church, Rev. Kleven officiating.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan 19, at 2 p.m. at Blanchardville Lutheran church, Rev. Kleven officiating. Burial was made in Graceland cemetery.
Pallbearers were two uncles, Orville Gilbertson and Henry Gilbertson, two cousins, Robert Berry and Robert Johnson. Flower girls were Helen Johnson and Suzanne Riley of Belleville. Mrs. Kleven sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "In the Garden".
Survivors are the parents and one sister, Victoria Lynn; the maternal grandmother Mrs. Clara Gilbertson; paternal grandmother Mrs. Marie Jenny; aunts, Mrs. Harold Johnson of Blanchardville, Mrs. Harold Berry of Barneveld, Mrs. Louis Hardyman of Monroe, Mrs. Henry Jenny of Orangeville, Ill., Mrs. Frances Daugherty of Hollandale, Mrs. Clarence Meicher of Madison; uncles Harford, Tilman, Alvie, Orville and Henry Gilbertson and Henry Jenny; also 15 cousins.
Saether's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
