  Mrs. Ethel Hendershot, 47 year old saleslady for J. C. Penney Co., died Sunday at Oklahoma City General Hospital of cancer five weeks after she was admitted. She came here six years ago from Dallas, Texas. She was reared in Hobart, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hendershot had been employed as a saleslady for five years at the store here. Mrs. Hendershot, 501 Northeast Fifth Street, had been in ill health for approximately a year. Funeral arrangements are being delayed pending word from relatives. Smith and Kernke funeral home is in charge.
