The child in the baptismal record in 1787 (posted above) is also the bride in the marriage record for Anna Maria Dorothea Vick, who marries Hans Jürgen Range (in 1808 in Retschow). The collective information from these two records confirm that the following information matches in both records: They have the same name, the father's name is not specified (child was born out of wedlock), and they have the same mother's name "Maria Vick" whose place of origin is "Lütten Grenz." The bride would have been in the expected range of marriage at 21 years of age (in 1808). In addition, the marriage record mentions the name, the occupation and the residence of the Bride's deceased stepfather: Jochim Friedrich Lange (name), Hauswirth (occupation), Reinshagen (residence). It might be helpful to know that there is a marriage record for a Jochim Friederich Lange (with the same occupation and residence of Reinshagen) and Maria Dorothea Vick (from the same place of Klein/Lütten Grentz). The couple were married in the parish of Retschow on 16 July 1788, 17 months after Anna Maria Dorothea Vick was born and baptized on 4 February 1787 in the parish of Kambs.
