I am searching for a male descendant of Michel Bitterli (1599 - 1678) of Runenberg who would be willing to contribute a Y-DNA sample (cheek swab) for a possible match with the line of my immigrant ancestor Hans Bitterli who left Runenberg in 1735 for South Carolina.

The citizens in Basel-Landschaft nowadays are spelled Bitterlin - and this includes Rünenberg as an old citizenship.
