Studer im Kanton Solothurn

I hope I am following Dr. Seelentags directions and that I am placing this information in the correct forum.

I am looking for information for Franz Josef Studer (the name may have been Josef Franz Studer). Born on 04 April 1804 or 12 April 1804. Kanton of Solothurn and I think in the city of Solothurn. I believe his fathers name may have been 'Francis' or 'Frances. He arrived in the United States in 1832. So I believe he departed in 1831 or 1832. He had a half brother named Peter Dominick, born 1842. I would like to know the anmes of his Father and Mother and have a copy made of the document with the information on it, either from the Stat-Archiv or the Kirchbuch. If there is anyone that thinks they may be of help and a reasonable cost is required, I would most certainly be willing to pay for the time and expenses.

I checked the Kirchbuch of the city of Solothurn, but I couldn't find your Franz Joseph Studer.
The Studers are citizen of many other commune in the canton of solothurn.
