Heidegger von Zürich ZH

Carl Keller-Escher (1851-1916) schreibt in seinem "
Promptuarium genealogicum":

März 1736 in Altstetten, Zürich, getraut.

Col. III.14,15 is of course a biblical reference.
fille unique : only daughter
germain : French word, used normally in the expression « cousin germain » = cousin of the same blood
Cousins who are « cousins germains » share at least a common grandparent.
In the above case, the pastor H. Jacob Hofmeister has the same grandparents as Susanna Müller:
Heinrich
Müller (
Nº B 14) ∞ Elisabeth Ammann
- Hans Heinrich Müller (Nº B 19)
- Susanna Müller ∞ Joh. Heinrich Heidegger (Nº 97)
- Barbara Müller ∞ Hans Rudolf Hofmeister (Nº 71)
- H. Jacob Hofmeister (Nº 89)
The numbers refer to the manuscript of genealogist Caspar Keller-Escher.

Griify,
Thank you so much!
I'm very grateful for the corrections (my reading of the old German is improving but still needs help...) and the additional information.
Heinrich Heidegger and Susanna Müller are my 6x great-grandparents, so all information is both interesting and useful.
Best wishes,
Lis

Greetings,
I have been doing some further research into my Heidegger ancestors and would again appreciate some help with this burial record for Johann Heinrich Heidegger (the last entry on page 253).

I would appreciate any additions/explanations to my question mark. I understand the translation of “Almosen” to mean alms or charity. Is this a specific charitable office?
Many thanks,
Lis

Correct -
idiotikon tells you
A poor relief fund initially intended for the citizens of the city of Zurich and its administration - a creation of the Reformation, founded from sequestered church property and further endowed from donations and church alms, extending its support, partly in natural products, partly in money, also to the needy of the countryside and also carrying out the distribution of bread in so-called “outer alms offices”, i.e. branches in the countryside; now renamed “cantonal poor relief fund”.
