GENEAL-FORUM

This gentleman isn't related to me but was a friend of my second great grandfather, Hans Franz Hindermann and, in case someone is looking for Stähelin here, I thought I'd post the images.

It is not proven that C. W. Staehelin belongs to the Stähelin (modern spelling) of Basel BS. Any information on him would therefore be appreciated.

The picture oviously shows Karl Wilhelm Stähelin 1857-1931, member of the Stähelins in Basel. He lived 1879-1883 in New York, 1883-1893 in Florida, owner of a farm there. 1893 he came back to Basel.

His descendance is shown in page Sn177
http://www.stroux.org/patriz_f/stSn_f/Sn177_f.pdf
with ID Sn177-12K-232.
