Capt de Le Chenit VD

I am looking for the family history of the Capt family line. I have a great, great, great grandfather from Switzerland named Louis (Luis) Capt, he was born in Le Chenit Vaud Switzerland on July 4, 1814 and died in Texas in 1897.
He married a girl from Indiana named Elizabeth Bratton they had several children and settled in Texas Blanco County. I am unable to find any information about his parents or the family in Switzerland. I would like to know who his parents and other relatives are, and also the history associated with the family name Capt.
If you have any suggestions or can point me to the persons who may know the Capt family history, I would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance for any help you can render.
Sincerely
Brian Capt
