I live in New Zealand and am looking for ancestor Jakob Wust from Birrhard who had a daughter Anna Maria Wust who married my great great grandfather, I understand she had several sisters alive up til about 1890s. Anna Maria was born in 15 Nov 1822 and married Kaspar Obrist 9 July 1847 in Rein-Rufenach. I am looking for Jakobs wife, his mother and father and if he links to a line which includes Johannes and Elisabeth Brugger. Anna Marias had two children and her husband died in 1952 she emigrated to USA in 1853 and never came back to Rein. The Court, in Sept 19 1884 ruled that as nothing was heard from her that she was declared dead. I descend off her son Samuel the eldest of the two. I would appreciate any info at all to clear up the mystery of Jakob and Anna Maria. Will be visiting Switzerland again later this year so hope do spadework before going. Thanks for any help given

Did you already ask for a copy or excerpt of Jakob Wüst's page in the family register (Ortsbürger-Register) of 1818ff, which is most probably kept by the civil registry office in Birr ?
