Looking for decendats of

- Edward Luternauer oo Lynn Fisher
- Oscar Friedrich (Federico) Luternauer oo Janet Elizabeth de Lima

They were cousins and both born in 1905.

Both left Switzerland in the early 20th century. Edward went to the USA and Oscar first to Brazil and later to the USA as well.

I am preparing a family tree for my mother-in-law who is a born Luternauer and am thankful for any information.

Luternauer were at that time (1905) citizens of either one of the two following villages:
Pfaffnau
Wauwil
both are situated in Canton Lucerne (Luzern in German).
Source for above is the Swiss family name book.

I propose to continue this search in the Luzern section of this forum. Maybe somebody may give you further help.

Wenn ich es richtig verstehe, geht es hier nicht um die Vorfahren in der Schweiz, sondern um Nachfahren der beiden genannten Herren in Amerika.

Einige Informationen scheinen ja schon vorzuliegen, ich finde es immer hilfreich, alles anzugeben, was man schon weiß. So erspart sich der Helfer die unnötige Suche nach bereits Bekanntem.

I am currently only researching the two emigrants and their families and I suppose that this is the correct forum to get in touch with someone who has details about them.
Our Luternauers are citizens from Wauwil/LU. But thank you anyway!

Thank you for the links with the interesting details. Specially some of the dates and places were new to me.

I did search the internet for many hours, but could not find a direct link from Brian, Jeremy and other Luternauers (found on Facebook etc.) to my relatives. Therefore I hope to get some hints here

What I found out so far is that Oscar had three children (maybe more?):
- Norman Mark (1936-2006) lived in California
- John Leland (1942-2005) lived in Vancouver
- Cynthia Constance (1946-) no more information

I have no information if these three were ever married or had children.

As regards to Edward we do only know that he was married to Lynn Fisher, but nothing about possible children.
