I encountered the following families from Luxembourg in the course of my research. I am publishing them here in the event others may be looking for them. These are not my own family lines.
Johann Massard, born about 1860 in Luxembourg (place unknown), immigrated to Michigan, USA about 1883.
He married 19 Nov 1895 in Garden City, Delta County with Catharine Grathen, born 4 Feb 1876 in Fayetteville, Michigan, died 16 Apr 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin;
--> daughter of Michael/Michel Grathen (*22 Feb 1843 in Machtum, Grevenmacher, +19 Apr 1918 in Fayetteville) and his wife Elisabeth Brix or Bricks (* 1 Sep 1845 in Weimarskirch, +22 Nov 1900 in Fayetteville).
Johann Massard died 23 Feb 1910 in Escanaba, Delta County, Michigan, and was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery
Johann and Catharine Massard had 3 known children: Bernard Charles (*6 Dec 1896 in Escanaba, +2 Feb 1982 in Racine, Wisconsin), Helene (*Dec 1898 in Escanaba) and Frank (*27 Jul 1902, +5 Feb 1977, both Escanaba)
