Hello, I am looking for information about my GGGrandparents Karl celestine Keller and Elizabeth (nee) Shad Keller. This is an elusive family and those few who are researching them cannot find their parents' names. Karl came from Canton Aargau/Baden. He was born in 1819. Karl his wife and 4 children emmigrated to U.S. in 1857. Their children were: Carl jr., Laura, Elizabeth, and Emil. They established in Fort Wayne Indiana. Karl was a trained file cutter.
Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Do you believe that Karl Keller was born in the city of Baden, canton of Aargau? If this is the case, I suggest you contact the Archives of Baden.

Shad could have been Schaad or Schad if she also came from Switzerland.

You have find your ancestor to Baden? I'm to late too help? The sequence from the children was not correctly. It is Elisa Paulina/Laura/ Carl Coelestin/ Emil Dietrich and Emma Verena.

No you are not too late!! Where did you find this information? Can you direct me to your source? Nobody searching karl Keller or Elizabeth can find their parents names either.
You're right, I did have their children's names out of order.
