Fry in Breil / Brigels GR

Post by nicolasb » Sun 20. Oct 2019, 12:45

Who could help me to link the FRY families in Sumvitg / Somvix with my family who lived in Breil / Brigels in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland?
The most recent information that I have been able to obtain can be found in the parish registers (StAGR A I 21 b 2 120 on microfilm).

Jacobus Mathias + 1881

Filius ex legitimo thoro Joannis Baptista Fry et Ma Monica Tenner, baptizatus a me, qui supra, 18 februarii, levantibus Jacobo Andrea Caplazis, et Maria Brigitta Tenner, nat. Soller

Jacques Mathias, deceased 1881

Son of the Legitimate son of John Baptist Fry and Maria Monica Tenner, baptized by me, mentioned above [the priest], on February 18 [1823], godfathers Andrea Caplazis and Maria Brigitta Tenner, born Soller

75 Placidus Fidelis
Filius leg. Baptistae Fry et Monica Tenner, die 15 Juli a me, l. p. bapt. levantibus [?] Johannes Plaunca et Sigr. Anna de Latour

No 75, Placid Fidele
The legitimate son of Baptiste Fry and Monica Tenner, on July 15, by me, L. P., baptized, godfathers [?] Jean Plaunca and Mme Anna de Latour

On the other hand, the birth entries of the two brothers' parents could not be found. Gion Battesta was born around 1792 and his wife Maria Mengia Tenner born around 1795.

Jacob Mathias (Romansh: Giacun Matias) and Placi Fidel Fry are the sons of Johannes Baptista (Gion Battesta) Fry and Maria Monica (Maria Mengia) born Tenner. The godmother of Giacun Matias is Maria Brigitte Tenner born Soller / Solèr, a surname of Breil / Brigels.
