Bonjour,
J'ai trouvé sur le site FamilySearch des LEUENBERGER dans les Heft de Rohrbach / BE, plusieurs individus sont nés à Peterlingen.
Y aurait-il une localité de ce nom dans le canton de Berne ou bien est-ce bien ce lieu dont l'équivalent en français est Payerne dans le canton de Vaud ?
Etant français je ne maîtrise pas trop la géographie suisse... Merci de me répondre.

Peterlingen est bien l'équivalent en allemand de Payerne dans le canton de Vaud.

Merci pour votre réponse. Mais savez-vous pourquoi sur le site de FamilySearch sur les fiches de ces individus le lieu est mentionné ainsi : Peterlingen, Bern, Switzerland ?

Petite correction, Payerne (en allemand Peterlingen) où la langue officielle est le français se trouve bien dans l'actuel Canton de Vaud. Ce territoire avait été annexé par les bernois en 1536 et est devenu un canton suisse en 1803.
Tous les registres (naissances/baptêmes, mariages et décès jusqu'au 31.12.1875 se trouvent aux Archives cantonales vaudoises où ils sont consultables sur microfilms.

Bonjour

Le premier sur la liste, Jakob Leuenberger, est décédé 1838 à Wiflisburg, c'est aussi dans le canton de Vaud et s'appelle Avenches en français.
Une autre observation: Ludwig, né 1809, est décédé 1833 dans l'hôpital à Berne (Inselspital).
